- not at the car to get ecu # it was the stock pnd 5spd ecu
- version 4.2.6
- bone stock
-got the kpro a few days ago
i started with the base tuned 89 octane .kal just getting used to the software before i swap in my k24a.
few things ive noticed
1) the box to lock vtc to a certain angle is grey and I cant click on it. it would make tuning more much efficient and less frustrating.the "whats new" for this version says it should be accessible...
2) when I have tables follow cam angle with the car running, i can't select lets say the 20 degree table if I want to look or make a change if I am running the car at say 30 degree angle. its frustrating not to be able to at least look back and forth between the maps, any way around this? same thing with the tables follow vtec if i want to check or update the high cam while on the low it wont let me open that table...
3) is there a way to reduce the post start fuel? I have the cranking trim down to like -6% and it still pins the wideband rich for the first 5-6 seconds. this occurs on cold (lol like 90f is as cold as it gets) and hot starts
4) this may be insignificant, but when looking at the tables i notice that some cells are vaguely flashing all over the table in the background. this is not the cell trace for the current motor conditions.
all in all i got the setup installed up, running and driving without much fanfare or issues in just a few minutes. thanks for the help getting used to and making the k series jump from b series
Up and running, just a few questions about vtc etc

Re: Up and running, just a few questions about vtc etc
You are using a PND based calibration and it does not have that option to lock the cam. You will need to used a PRB based calibration in order for this to be available.
Turn off the tables follow VTEC and cam angle if you want to click on them while still datalogging and make changes.
There is no post start fuel compensation to modify. The oxygen sensor will not read properly until it is warmed up anyway.
This has something to do with the video drivers or the video card most likely.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt know the pnd didnt have access to the vtc lock. base models get no love lol. at least i can use the feature when tuning the k24.
Also didnt know there is no post start fuel comp.
