Spunkster, I have the new S300 V3, and in the box are the two analog and digital wiring I can plug directly into the S300 board, my questions :
1) If I use the analog connector and plug it into the board , how should I physically route the wires I'm using outside of the ecu itself? I want to keep things clean and neat. Thanks.
2) I really like the convenience of using the analog wiring for my wideband ( I use the ngk afx unit ) as it does have both the analog and ground wire. So connecting my wideband signal an ground directly to the s300 should give me the most accurate readin in sync with the wideband and smanager software due to the ground connecting in the ecu right at the board?
3) Is the digital plug more for the aftermarket electronic dashboards?
Thanks Hondata
V3 Analog wiring
Re: V3 Analog wiring
1. You can route the wires under the lid, being careful to avoid the sharp edge, or you could cut a hole in the ECU frame and install a gromit.
2. The wideband analog ground (not power ground) wire should connect to one of the grounds on the s300 analog input connector.
3. Dash output, digital wideband input, PLX sensor inputs.

Re: V3 Analog wiring
Thanks, so using the analog ground directly to the s300 would be just as accurate as running the ground to the intake manifold thermostat ground? Definitely makes it easier and much neater to run it this way.
Re: V3 Analog wiring
The power ground should not be connected to the s300. The ground on the s300 is only for the wideband signal if it is needed for the wideband you have.
Re: V3 Analog wiring
Spunkster, I just noticed you already have the NGK AFX wideband added to the Analog inputs in the smanager software. So if I'm going to use analog 0 as the power, and analog 7 as the ground...how do I correctly set them up in the smanager? thanks
Re: V3 Analog wiring
What do you mean by using them as power and ground?
Re: V3 Analog wiring
Sorry i meant signal and signal ground, the afx has a main power I can use the fusebox, and ot has the main ground which should come from then engine block for best accuracy to sync with the smanager... When i had it hookd up last time i had to play with the voltage offsets to get it right....this time im trying not to have to do that. Thanks
