HELP - return to stock issue

Post by hypnotini »

Background: My acura rdx is being totaled by hail so I was pulling my parts etc. I went to manager clicked the return to stock the boxes went blank. I went to the car at the facility its in uploaded the what I am assuming as stock calibration.

I returned home plug flashpro back in and there was an update. I let it update went to click the unlock button the other options were all grayed out. I get the error the ecu vin has not been recorded and on flashpro I get a yellow caution logo with ecu and binary unkown.

I tried to load a calibration on it to go try again and the error I get with that is This flashpro can only be used with rdx 2007 + Americas vehicles. the current vehicle is unknown.

What on earth did I do?

You need to plug it into the vehicle, key on, then go to the online menu and click on return to stock. When that finishes uploading to the ECU, then go back to the online menu and click on unlock form vehicle.
