Miss after couple laps.

Post by Daonlyone74 »

I have a civic that runs on a 1/3 mile oval track. The car has an lsv motor. The car runs great for around 4 laps and then the car has a miss at about 6k rpms. It sounds like an ignition miss but feels like a rev limiter. You shift to the and it runs fine again untill u hit the 6k mark. You can't go over 6200 it just bounces. We have replaced the dizzy with oem honda parts and the coloan sensor, no break in wire, tried different tb with tps and maps different and no success. New pump and injectors as well. I did a data log on the track and you can see the car runs good and then you can see the bad sports on the graph. Can someone help diagnosis what is going bad here. I'm new to the s300 data logging.

Sorry for the bad pics. This is my dad's car and I haven't been able to figure out the problem for him. It sucks watching him lead the race then fall back to finish last because of this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'll even send someone some money if they figure out the problem for me. Here is the thread I started on honda tech if u would like to know more about the car.
