These ECUs are at least 20 years old and more than likely all the capacitors have not been replaced.

I guess I'm confused. According to there website all HA Motorsports ECU's are produced completely in-house. Wouldn't that mean the caps are new?

The ECU itself is from 1992-1995, so 20-25 years old. They are not new.

Capacitors are rated for around 2000 hours lifetime, which is roughly 100,000 miles, so often fail at this age.

For our replacement capacitor kit https://www.hondata.com/accessories/capacitor-kit we selected capacitors with the highest lifetime and temperature rating we could.

I just wanted to update that I solved the problem. I uploaded my calibration, the same one that had been in the car all along and have had no issues in two days. No idea what happened but something got lost somewhere.
