Software won't open. Please help

Installed the flashpro manager V.1.6.3 and it will not open.

I have:
Ran as administrator
restarted my laptop
re-installed the program
turned off antivirus
updated windows
restarted laptop again
downloaded with other browsers (nothing)
Called Microsoft (nothing)
Called Hondata (nothing)

The program works on another computer, but I only have real access to mine and need it to work on my laptop.

When I click to open the program the loading bar next to my mouse turns but nothing happens.

I am using windows 7. Any advice would be great.

What anti-virus are you using? Unless it is defender or microsoft security essentials, we've found that tuning off the anti-virus or adding an exception does nothing - it just silently blocks our software. You normally need to uninstall the antivirus.

I actually did that since the antivirus i had wouldn't let me turn off the antivirus. but still no effect.

A few times when i launch it out of install i will get a 740 error code saying i need authorization to run the file. But i ran the install as administrator too.

Check that you don't have two anti-virus applications installed - we've had that happen. The windows action center should complain once you uninstall all antivirus. You can use microsoft security essentials or defender as they work.

Download and install FlashProManager, then from the desktop shortcut 'open file location' and check the size of FlashProManager.exe. It should be 7-8mb.

You don't need to install as administrator or run as administrator.

If that doesn't work, then the problem likely is a windows policy setting, which is going to take some troubleshooting to fix.

That looks ok. If it still doesn't open then the problems lies somewhere in your installation of windows. Sorry I can't be more specific.

I'm having an issue where I have Windows 10 and run the software after install, only the list of of revisions file opens. The KManager will not open in admin mode either. Windows UAC and Defender are off. What else should I check??

You don't need to disable UAC or Windows Defender, nor do you need to run as administrator. Double check that you do not have any other anti-virus software installed. Check in the installation directory for FlashProManager.exe to see if the exe is there. Then tell us any messages or error messages when you open FlashProManager.exe

ONE out of 25 times I received an error immediately after install Code 740, which is indicative of admin privileges required.
THERE ARE ZERO antiviruses installed, Windows does confirm that Im unprotected.

Is FlashProManager.exe in the installation directory? What happens the rest of the time when you open FlashProManager.exe?

I am able to see it and uninstall it under control panel. When I double click it, the loading icon replaces my muse for 1 second and nothing happens in the task bar.
Upon fresh install the help file with the software revisions opens but the K manager software never displays. ONLY once have I seen the error mentioned.

I have tried running the compatibility wizard under every optional version of windows with no luck.
What else could I check?

You need to find FlashProManager.exe in the installation directory. Normally this will be C:\Program Files (x86)\FlashProManager You can also check by right clicking on the FlashProManager desktop icon, and selecting 'Open file location'.
FlashProManager does not need any compatibility settings, and it is best not to use any.

I can't open it either. I have tried with webroot off & still the same issue. Whenever I try to run the app, a box saying error(0) pops up & that's it.

Uninstall any antivirus software and then install the Hondata software.
