Please help review Datalog - nuisance engine cut?

Post by Lyle_57IAL »

Hey guys,

Currently have some issues with my tune. Turbo D16 With Dry nitrous on Aux output. I find repeatability always in 4 gear around 5800 RPM my car will hit some type of protection however i have no idea what?

Could someone review the tune as well as datalogs and tell me if they can see anything?

Thanks hondata all the best

:)

What time stamp in the datalogs are you seeing the problem?

Why do you have 2 different VTEC activation RPM points with the same Map values?

Have you also tried disabling the lean protection to see if this goes away?

Yes i was thinking this as well. Have not tried removing lean protection ? the logs show I'm well below the lean cut anyway ?

the vtec points & lean cut does not impact this problem..... any other ideas ? can the traction control be impacting this somehow?

It is not a ECU cut, as the injectors stay on. The AF goes lean during the cut which would indicate a misfire. Overall timing is fairly low (4 degrees) and I'm wondering if the fire is going out.
