Help with getting USB drivers Installed on HP laptop please!

Hello all,

I just received my kpro v4 from Hondata and I have an HP Notebook for a laptop. I see where it says Install USB drivers with either XP or Vista, but I am really unsure of what to do. When I plug the ecu into my computer nothing comes up automatically for the drivers and the directions I was sent to install the drivers manually were very unclear and vague. Is it possible to get some directions/ help as to what to do please or perhaps a point in the right direction? I am simply trying to load a stock base map for my k20z1 to drive it until I am able to get it fully tuned.

From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

What operating system are you using?

Hi Spunkster,

Under Help and about it says I am using version 4.2.6.0 . This I believe is the latest version correct?

And the operating system is windows 10. I just tried again by plugging it in and I checked the bottom left again and it said drivers installed although I didnt get any notifications. Checked device manager and it showed up there as well. Would this mean I can now plug it in to the car and upload the calibration and it should be fine?
