Integra turbo cutting out fuel at 2000rpm and dies

Hello ,

I am new to this forums .Greetings from Malta.


I have a turbo integra built by a fairly reputable garage here in Malta .

Not a long time ago i was driving and the ecu lost it's map and i got a knock sensor error so i drove back to my garage , re -uploaded the map and then i found the distributor broken as well .

Bought a new one and installed it correctly and car started and idles fine.

Now whenever i give it a little bit of gas , it shuts off almost instantly , will not rev past 2000 rpm . No CEL , no codes nothing .
I have correct Fuel Pressure as the regulator is showing correctly .

Anyone ever had this issue please ? It's freaking me out , already spent 3 weeks and no success . Please i would like some help . I have data logs as well .

What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

i just updated the latest version that came out . i have the 2.5.3.0 . just updated it today .

i will check the s300 board serial number this weekend .

does this make a difference ?

I don't actually see it shutting off anywhere in that datalog and it does go over 2000RPM to about 5000RPM. Have you talked to your tuner about this? When you reuploaded your calibration did you load it from a saved file on your laptop, or did you download from the s300?

sorry late, i was busy .

It does not cut off because il et go off the gas and it re starts to idle good .

it does idle good . when i give it gas slowly at the throttle body (really slowly , a lot ) it does rev to the rev limiter . When i press the pedal or turn the throttle normally / fast , it shuts off and almost dies, then i let go and it re idles fine (if i hold the gas pedal / throttle cable down it turns off

also note , that it has adjustable camshafts . i moved them both to 0 degrees before i realised that the distributor was bad

HAve you tried putting the cam gear back to the original settings that worked?

I highly recommend taking this back your tuner for assistance with this issue.

did contact my tuner and he gave me the settings and i did them right . it still has the issue .

only when i press the gas pedal to rev the engine it does shut down and if i hold the pedal down it dies .

otherwise if i press it lightly , it revs up fine
