Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
Well I mean my Kpro4, its completely new from Hondata. The old and new Kpro4 exhibit same patterns on the idle. I will refer this post to my tuner.
Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
my base is roughly 45psi, should I go with Hondata recommended settings or ID recommended? I think we used ID's references

Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
The idle afrs were pretty much spot on with whatever target lambda we set
Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
The ID supplied values are too low - we bought this up with ID many years ago and were told that the dead times are measured electrically, not by fuel flow. The values we have given you were generated on a vehicle. But use whatever you're happy with.saintjah wrote:should I go with Hondata recommended settings or ID recommended?
Hondata
Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
I will try Hondata values tonite, I will be happy with whatever corrects the idle issue ^^
Re: Idle feels like slight misfire but no CEL
Face palm on this one, Ill get it to a dyno to verify the lambda readings on the sensor. I cant hear and exhaust leaks but ill double check that aspect.Hondata wrote: The other issue common with idle mixture is any very slight exhaust leak will give the o2 sensor a false reading.
I used the Hondata wizard for the ID1000 voltage and dead time settings. Only thing that seems to completely cure it is increasing the AFR and it completely smooths out at 12.5
