Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Hello All,
This is my first post and i would like to how know to
to datalog my AFR (to do overlay) through my LM-2.
1. Car: Honda Civic EG-9 (B16A, Manual Transmission)
2. Minor Mods: CAI and exhaust system
3. Hondata: S300J v2 (red board)
4. Calibration: Stock JDM P30
5. Wideband: Innovate LM-2
Analog Setup:
0 RED Hondata to Innovate Analog out 1 (+) LIME GREEN
8 BLACK Hondata to Innovate Analog out 1 (-) YELLOW
What i have done so far:
1. Hooked the O2 sensor at the exhaust bung
2. The stock O2 is still intact on the exhaust manifold
3. Configured Hondata (as per the screen captures)
Everything seems ok except that i was not getting any AFR
reading on my Hondata display screen. On the innovate it was working
fine with RPM configured.
Just need to know if i have missed anything else in the Hondata
program or even the LM-2 box. Or did i make some mistakes on
the one i have configured?
Hope to get some help and to get things running.
Thanks all.

Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate Lm-2
You need to post your calibration and a datalog showing the issue.
Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Hello Spunkster.
Attached is my calibration. Actually the only
things done were the same ones on the screen captures.
Started the car, no errors so far. Checked on the display screen
and that was it. Other than that i was checking physically on the
connections to see if any of the wires or connections were loose.
I have not started datalogging when the AFR display box was not
reading anything. I stopped when i felt something was not right
and came into this forum to seek some infos.

If you have not datalogged how do you know that you are not getting any readings?
Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Try using Wideband - Innovate LC-1 for conversion instead of custom
Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Spunkster,
The 1.6 car is not in town. Here is another test on a 1.8.
Attached are the calibration and log(idle) taken last month.
I set the same thing for this car and still no reading.
Maybe i should set the close loop option operation to
something else? Please advise.
Area876,
I'll give it a try soon.
Thanks all.

Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
How exactly are you inputting the wideband data into the ECU in the calibration/datalog you just posted?
Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Hello Spunkster,
Using the lime green and yellow wires from the LM-2. To the red and black wires through the analog cables on the hondata board.
LM-2 --> anaolog cables --> Hondata Board
Thanks.

Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
The way you have it connected you will only see the wideband reading in the sensor list under the analog you have it connected to. If you wish to see it anywhere else you must input it into one of the ECU inputs listed on the Closed loop advanced tab.
Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Hello Spunkster,
You mean i have to choose (or maybe physically wire in) one of the wideband input source in the closed loop advance?
Do you have like a simple procedure/manual/guide where i can follow and re-do everything?
This is the only write up i found only which is close to what i plan to do but for the kpro

Re: Hondata S300J & Innovate LM-2
Details on how to wire it can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/techplxwiring.html
You may have to substitute wire colors for the wideband you have.
