AIM analog inputs

Hi Hondata

We are working with a S300 V3 and AIM MXL model. The gauge shows all ECU parameters but we have 2 analog inpus with the oil press and temp reads. We'd like to show these 2 channels on the display but they are not availabe in the channel selection window on the Race studio

Is there any way to get these readings on the AIM gauge?

No, because the MXL uses a fixed serial protocol. With CAN it would be possible.

Does the MXL have a CAN input?

Yes sir ,

We have CAN+ and CAN- wires on our Strada MXL module. They announces CAN protocol with ECUs like Motec , EFI , Bosch , etc.

So.. I'm needing to config the Smanager and the AIM device selection like a Motec dash? In the Smanager you have the two options but the Race studio from AIM only have HONDATA "KPRO" protocol to choose and it's from RS signal , right?

In MOtec models show , M4-M48 models and M800-M600

You're mixing the CAN and serial outputs up. AiM only has the option for the 'Kpro' serial output, which the S300 also supports. The S300 can also output CAN packets, as described above, but you'd have to configure the AiM to handle the packet format.

Is there some public info chart to get that configuration please?

The only can bus from Honda info I found was for the FN2 model

As far as configuring AiM you will have to ask AiM.
