I'm just beginning the tune on a CRX w B16a1 and ran into an issue with the throttle not responding.., sometimes. It will do some lower revs, but then once I pull a higher rev, you can hold the throttle open and the rpms go down, then realize it's supposed to be open and revs back up. The delay is roughly a second or two. I've never had this kind of issue before. I ran a datalog on it and will post it as soon as I get back to the house. Any ideas? I thought maybe a TPS issue but the tuner here thinks it may be a MAP sensor/ECU issue. At this point I'm leaning towards that as well.
UPDATE: Just attached a few logs.. #5 is while we were trying to keep the car running at idle. We smoothed it out a bit but still seems like a vacuum leak/misfire. #6 is the first time we revved.. Did a few revs with the throttle and was okay, but then it wouldn't register we were opening for a second or so, then realized it was still open and rev (i.e. I'm holding it open and it responds as if I goosed it, revved up and then dropped rpms, waited and then revved back up without me ever releasing the throttle). #7 is the same issue on a separate log.
Should I be running a 4 bar with this setup, or should the 3 bar suffice?
B16a1 (82 mm)

*SIDE NOTE:* I have no real tuning knowledge/experience and am trying to help the tuner because he's Italian, he's never dealt with Hondata before, and he can't read English.. I'm struggling here but I'm trying. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Throttle Response issue
i realize this is six months later but its been raining for 3 weeks and im bored as hell your tps never registered so its wired wrong not plugged in at all or not hooked it to the slot inside the throttle body, you also have 3 trouble codes many problems need fixed before continuing to tune.
