I believe I have the same issue described above. Car sat for over a year and now it won't start. Issue has been isolated to the ecu/hondata. My question is this... if the battery backup has died and I need to have it replaced with v3 to get it working again, how can I save my tune if I don't have access to a copy of it?

What s300 do you have? If the only place that the calibration was saved was to the NVRAM, and the NVRAM battery has died, then the calibration is gone. For the s300V2 and s300v3 the calibration is stored in flash memory, so still will be there.
