CAMCMD is changing even though table is constant

Post by AWH »

Greetings,

Had something weird show up during a track day over the weekend.

My high cam table is set entirely to 30 degrees cam advance, yet I am seeing CAMCMD values less than that periodically at WOT. The datalog snippet shows this most noticeably at 1:38 timestamp. That one may be related to nearing the rev limiter, but it also shows up at 0:14, 1:26, 1:32 and 2:01 where it is not on the limiter.

It was only this one final session, and I've never seen it before. But it is concerning. Thoughts?

You need to show the tables under boost as well, as it is interpolating a lower value from the higher columns. Everything looks pretty normal.

Bingo!

Yep, that's it. While it is a naturally aspirated motor, at these speeds (140+) it is getting a little bit of positive pressure due to my new cold air intake setup. Easy fix.

Thanks guys!

And Merry Christmas!
