OBD0 to OBD1 issues...

Hey, I just put a JDM B16A that came out of an Integra XSi into my 1993 Civic EX .... Well as you all know... my car is OBD1 and I am unable to use the PW0 and was forced to use the stock P28 Single cam Vtec ecu and my engine came built alot of Type R internals and it is DEF not running how it should be Vtec does not kick in hard at ALL and my friend with a complete stock b16 can pretty much beat me can I please get some advice on what to do I was told by someone to get an OBD1 to OBD0 Conversion Harness he told me to call Hasport and I did they said there is no such thing then someone told me to buy a P30 ECU ahh Im going crazy not having the power my engine should please give me advice on what to do

boomslang makes good adapter harnesses for obd0-1... or we put obd0 plugs into obdI ecus (same idea as hondata's obdI ecus with obdII plugs). the harness is a bit more flexible since any obdi ecu can be installed in minutes, but for cali smog referee our ecu is better. remember you will need an obdI dizzy and 4-wire o2.

I was told that its not good to convert from obd1 to obd0 because of the electronics...?

Just change to an OBD1 distributor and then you can stay OBD1....this is a much better solution and still allows you to use the HOndata system.

I did change the Dizzy to an OBD1 and Im using a P28 ecu unchipped and the engine is not running how it should is all im saying just asking if I should chip the P28 or buy one chipped or just get the Hondata s100

Get the Hondata, then get it properly tuned on the dyno.

Man, I really dont want to pay for a Dyno hah oh well...I just found out today since my Engine is the 1st gen b16 I couldnt use the dizzy on it so my dad put my stock single cam dizzy on it :shock: what a n00b lol oh well it runs but shitty and vtec doesnt hit good at all I need a obd1 b16 dizzy now PLUS the ecu
