If i change (increase) this value, then the fuel gauge goes down quicker, but right?

Anything else:

Why we have no value to change the output type like this:
fuel-economy-parameter.gif
Only on race cals we have this option, but without any effect if we change the value.

On MAP-Cals this option is not available!
It is only available on MAF- or Hybrid-Cals!
This also has to do with the new software/firmware!

Use a MAF- or Hybrid-Cal to adjust it right!

Hi Hondata,

i observe for several tanks of repeatedly following in my FN2 s/c (RC750cc) at Fuel Economy:

If i change "Injector flow for dash" value, i can set/vary the consumption indicator (currently/average) thats all correct, now! :)

But if i change the "Injector flow for fuel economy calc" value, whether i use 750cc, 850cc or 1000cc the fuel gauge falls always as same slow/fast down!

It is in any case (regardless of the value I put in) as follows:

- After I'm gone ~60 kilometers, the fuel gauge falls just down about 1 line at the gauge. -> Correctly the fuel gauge must falls down to 3/4 tank @ ~100 kilometers, but this is not the case!
- After ~200 kilometers the fuel gauge falls down to 1/2 tank.
- After ~300 kilometers the fuel gauge falls down to 1/4 tank.
- After ~400 Kilometers the fuel gauge falls down to empty (in approximately). -> Then I'm run on reserve or the reserve light comes on.

Is it possible to make the fuel gauge more accurate?
I have the impression if i change the value (cc) in this case, it does not make any differences/effects!

I even have the impression that this value affects the "Injector flow for dash" value something ?!
Can that be possible?

And yes, i try it always after a full tank or refuel the tank to completely full!

Thank you!

Why are you using race calibrations? Is there something missing from the normal calibration?

I do not use a race calibration, but i use a maf-based calibration (hybrid)!!!
Why do you think I use race calibration?

Hondata, please read my posts above!

Thats my Problem:
"If i change the "Injector flow for fuel economy calc" value, whether i use 750cc, 850cc or 1000cc the fuel gauge falls always as same slow/fast down!"

The "Injector flow for fuel economy calc" option do not make any effect on a FN2!
What effect should have this option?

I thought with this option it is possible to manage how slow/fast the fuel gauge goes down!?

I use the full AFM calibration without ve tables... And use 750cc. But in this case the gauge drops to empty quicker although enough fuel is available.
Edit:
With 700cc the fuel gauge is feeled more correctly. We can test with 400cc and record the fuel consumption change if required.

I know that the fuel gauge was not correcly before the sc kit. So we are very happy if you can offer us more tuning tips.

Yes, we would be ready to working on a solution, together with Hondata.
Similarly, we have also done it successfully in the average fuel consumption display/current fuel consumption display.

Thanks!

I still can't see what you're getting at. If I read your last posts you're saying the fuel economy display works and the fuel level gauge is reading correctly. What, exactly, is the problem?

Hi Hondata,

thank you for answer!

The fuel economy display now works really good (after our troubleshooting).

But the fuel gauge does not working accurate/evenly, the fuel gauge falls always as same slow/fast down!
Even if i put in 750cc, 850cc or 1000cc, etc. in the input box, does not make a difference the behavior of the fuel gauge!

The input box for the fuel gauge "Injector flow for fuel economy calc" like this ones:
750cc put in ->
750cc.jpg
850cc put in ->
850cc.jpg
1000cc put in ->
1000cc.jpg
This indicator acts on the fuel gauge like this:
gauge.JPG

The "Injector flow for fuel economy calc" option do not make any effect on a FN2!
What effect should have this option?

With this option it is possible to manage how slow/fast the fuel gauge goes down!?

Do you recognized my problem now?
