Wideband Help (I've already read a lot)

Post by Morikun »

I've recently removed the stock O2 and installed an NTK wideband.

I followed these instruction: https://www.hondata.com/techplxwiring.html

When I open s300 and go to parameters/closed loop it will not allow me to select or alter anything whatsoever.
The ELD reading shows 4.5v (as it should) seeing as how I tapped into d10; however, Hondata will not allow me to make any selections or alteratons under closed loop.

Also, the screenshot from the link with instructions shows there only being one Closed Loop tab under parameters, but my version is showing me not only Closed Loop but also Closed Loop Advanced.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you

P.S. I'm running a USDM p72, s300, and the latest version, 2.5 I think.

Of COURSE I asked too soon...

Didn't have a calibration loaded...how embarrassing...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the entire point of running the car's closed loop off the wideband is so that the stock O2 is no longer needed, correct?

In most cases that is the case, but a wideband is also much more accurate than a narrowband.

That's exactly what I meant, no longer need the weaker narrow band for closed loop.
