s2000 KPRO4 ECT reading on dash

Hello,
I have a 2004 s2000 with KPRO4, something I have noticed when initially turning the key before start up is that the ECT reading on the dash does its initial sweep but then sits at about 3/4 all the way to full and slowly recedes back down to the actual reading one bar at a time, it even does this when the car has sat over-night and the coolant is ambient temperature.

This is because there is an adapter built into the S2000 adapter harness for the different way the S2000 handles ECT temp on the cluster. IT is nothing to worry about.
