S2000 flashpro error vin not locked to ecu

Hi guys
trying to lock my flashpro to my s2000 ap1 UK car with VSA 2007 model but keep getting
error vin not locked to ecu contact dealer

Is this a software issue?
Is there a quick fix?
I did see a post somewhere but can't locate any info
Might have to put my EMU on which seems much better so far

It appears that your ECU does not have the VIN programmed into it. You will need to take it to the Honda dealer to have them properly program that. This is not a Hondata problem, it is a problem with how the ECU was originally programmed by Honda.
