Urgent help please removing flashpro

Post by ry_b »

Hi all

I have a 2007 UK Civic Type R (FN2) which I have been running the group N map on the car for around 12-18 months with no problems

I currently have the car for sale so went to remove it last night.

I connected the Flashpro to the car and then to my laptop via USB

I opened Flashpro Manager and there is a green tick under "driver" at the bottom, but everything else is a red tick such as flashpro, OBDII, ECU, live etc

Under the online section at the top, all the boxes are greyed out, so I'm unable to select return to stock and then unlock car which is all i want to do

To make matters worse, since connecting the Flashpro, the usual engine lights came on (check engine, VSA etc) and I have now removed the flashpro, thinking I could research this problem in a few days, it turns out that now my car won't even start! So I'm guessing this is engine immobiliser related due to the flashpro?

If anyone could help me as I have a car that I need to sell but currently won't start, I will be extremely grateful!

Thankyou
Ryan

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

What is the serial number that is on the FlashPro?

I'm trying to make sure I understand. You did not upload or do anything except plug in the FlashPro and now the car will not start?

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding

I have now borrowed my friends laptop and have downloaded the latest drivers and the latest version of flashpro manager 2.3.2.0 - managed to connect successfully. All the ticks are green on driver, flashpro, OBDII except for "Live" which has a yellow exclamation mark on it

When I go to online> return to stock it is greyed out. Return to stock is able to be pressed but when I press it it says "The ECU VIN has not been recorded"

Under the flashpro tab there is a lot of exclamation marks, upload has a yellow exclamation mark and says last upload failed. Further down it says that the ECU is in recovery mode?

Serial number on the flashpro is fp-si-int-21722

Thanks for your help in advance

Just go to the new calibration button and load any calibration and upload it and that should get the ECU out of recovery mode. Then you should be able to go to the online menu and return to stock and then unlock.
