So i just bought a new s300 i chipped my ecu and installed the s300. Car started fine, rev'd up fine and idle fine.
I was sitting in in my car had my laptop plugged in learning the system when my car shut off and wouldn't start back up.So i replaced that ecu with a chipped p28 and everything was running good again.
I open my hondata installed ecu and found the common blown capacitors. I replaced them reinstalled the ecu and still would not run.
So i removed the s300 from the ecu and cut J1 and the car started up and ran fine.
Both green lights are on when the ignition is turned on, and i have no issues changing the calibration.
It seams like i have a faulty s300.But i'am no expert so any help would be great before i send back for repairs.

Problem with s300
Re: Problem with s300
You should try the s300 in a different ECU as something in that ECU may still be damaged and is not fully powering up the s300 fully.
Re: Problem with s300
So what are the chances that the s300 is damaged?
Don't want to buy a new ecu if it could be the s300.

Re: Problem with s300
Try and find someone locally that has an s300 you can test your s300 in their ECU. You might also try contacting your local dealer as they may have a ECU you can test this in.
