I have an 03 RSX type S and i am very interested in running the kpro along with nitrous. I was wondering if someone could give me a quick run down of how this works and what makes it better han just running a wet kit. Also, are you able to still run a tuned calibration when you arent running nitrous? Does the USDM RSX type S ECU have the right connectors to run nitrous?
I am sure i will have more questions from your ansers so thanks in advance.

i have dowmloaded the software and played with it a little. What i dont understand is how the nitrous is armed and disarmed. Woth a typical wet kit, you simply have an on/off switch for the system and then some type of activation whether it be a WOT switch or a button... The way it looks to me is as if everytime you want to turn on your nitrous system with kpro, you have to have your laptop plugged in. Is this true? Also, i dont understand what this arming input, inver input, and output control means. Further, i am confused how a uniform retard of timing across the calibration is safe on our cars with the VTC. Just a qucik run down of how the whole nitrous system works with Kpro would help out a lot.
You do not have to use your Laptop to use nitrous. We use and arming switch to "turn on the system". These gets the ECU ready. Then your "WOT switch" is done by the ECU, cause the system is armed. The system will fire when it meets all the requrmnets to you gave it. The nitrous system is really good.pearlblueS03 wrote:i have dowmloaded the software and played with it a little. are you using a dry kit? The more i read the worse a dry kit seems to be. I am reading a lot that with a dry kit, you can end up with uneven dispersion of the nitrous, meaning that most, if not all, of the nitrous goes into one or two cylinders which can obviously cause major problems because of the ultra lean conditions in that cylinder. Another problem is if an injector is clogged, it wont have any fuel to compensate for the nitrous. However, i think that this is a situation that could be seen by kmanager and avoided(if you happen to have your laptop hooked up). Also, I was told that the dry shot could "shock" your IAT sensor causing lean conditions. So now i dont know what to do. I really wanted Kpro and nitrous and now the dry kit is kinda scaring me. Any thoughts on this???
