- The car is not running VSS. We are using Toyota speed sensors in the hubs to get a MPH reading, hence the VSS code. One first start up the car runs perfectly fine, no issues but if you turn the car off upon the restart (duration between restart is non dependant) the car throws a daughter mouther board code listed above and runs in safe mode about 15 second after re-start. The code can be cleared but will reappear in seconds and will continue until the ECU is re-uploaded or the battery is disconnected (hard cycle). The battery has been replaced with a Braile B2015 brand new. We have 4 ground's. I do notice that green light inside the ECU is on even if you turn the car off. Once the code is thrown the Red light stays on inside the ECU. I'm running out of idea's. Ive read the install guide in the technical section as well as the previous thread with the same codes.

Re: Daughter board error, Hondata installed in Toyota
You need to check the voltage at the ECU when cranking as it sounds like it is dropping too low which is causing this error.
