possibly bad ECU
possibly bad ECU
im wondering if i have a possible bad ecu
i bought it new a few months ago from k-tuned its the black box hondata s300v3
since this problem i have changed the TPS and MAP to the same result
with the s300plugged in randomly more often than not the car lstalls right at 2000rpm its undrivalbe. i took the s300 v3 out and put back in the stock ecu and nothing drives normal.
ive loaded the b20 stock basemap ive updated everything and it still does it.
i have a video of what it does when you hold the throttle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0emh3vjSpM
as you can see it drops and goes back up all while holding the pedal at the same spot.. at the end of the video i floorded it and it bounced off the 2step as it should
when trying to calibrate the TPS min is 14ish and max is at 60 always no matter if your pressing the pedal all the way down or not even on it
i have tried so many thinks and dont know what else it could be. i dont want to bring my car to the dyno tune when it is doing this. only to find out it is a possible bad ecu. the shop is around 2 hours away. if anyone could help i would be so thankful.

Re: possibly bad ECU
I have retried installing smanager and the drivers on the computer
Re: possibly bad ECU
Please download the latest beat version of software, upload your calibration using that version of software and let us know the outcome.
Re: possibly bad ECU
here is the car idle than pressing the gas so its about 2000 rpm than it drops 5 times idle and repeat

Re: possibly bad ECU
Have you tried this using the latest version of software?
Re: possibly bad ECU
Yes that was the software you just linked me too
Re: possibly bad ECU
I just want to get it sorted out. I was going to bring it for a dyno tune but it's 2 hours away and I don't want to trailer it that far to find out it could be something serious.
Re: possibly bad ECU
Post your calibration as well as a datalog showing the problem with the latest version of software.
Re: possibly bad ECU
Alright I will post it in about a hour. Thanks for the help thus far.
Re: possibly bad ECU
here is the calibration the last data log above this i posed was from the newest software 2.4.5

Re: possibly bad ECU
any clue. is it possible its the ECU
help with fuel cut?? or possibly bad ecu?
hello im am in a bad situation. and any help I will be so thankful for
i have a 95 teg with a jdm b20b turbo using the newest Smanager version
i bought hondata new about 2 months ago its s300 v3 black box from kstuned.
running anybase map the car stalls when you hold the gas pedal steady above 2000-2200 rpm it will drop and bouce back up. and keep doing it
It makes the car undrivable. i cannout drive it to the shop 2 hours away i was planning on getting a dyno tune for the new turbo set up but if the ecu is bad there is no point also
when the stock ECU is in it does not do it it runs fine
so far i have changed the TPS set the voltage and the map sensor
here is a video of the problem when holding the gas above 2000 rpm u can see it then at the end of the video i full throttle it and it is bouncing off of the 2 step.

here is a datalog and 1 of the calibrations i have tried
i dont know what else i can do right now with what i have but im so frustrated
i emailed KS-tuned and they told me sounds like a tuning issue and bring to a local tuner. but as theres no way it will make it on the highway like that im out of ideas as of now
sorry for my spelling and grammar and punctuation in advanced.
