s300 problem

my buddy just got a new s300 and when we set it up the car only will rev to 3000 rpms. i checked the rev limiter and thats not the problem. any ideas?

this issue for me at least, has to do with the speed limiter, I've had this issue before when downloading a file off the ECU and then uploading it again. SO! please navigate to the parameters window -> under Rev Limits and at the bottom of the page change the speed limiter maximum RPM to something higher then 2500, you could also check the security tab to make sure that it isn't enabled, and for future reference if you have a question regarding your calibration, upload the file next time so we can actually see what your settings are and fix them.
