S300 red light

My car isnt starting the s300 has a red light on. What does this mean? If i leave the key in the on position the light will turn off, and the green light comes on, this happens on its own usually with a max of 5 min as of now.

Sounds like a problem with the ECU. Some of the capacitors are probably going bad. You can try the s300 in a different ECU and see if the problem goes away.
