Do i tick the box "Use Atmospheric pressure compensation" in TPS parameters?

Post by B18CR-X »

I have a b18cr with ITB's and is using alpha N mode for fuel/ignition table lookup, in hondata help, it says do not enable the option "use Atmospheric pressure compensation" if Atmospheric pressure sensor is missing or disabled. Is hondata talking about the MAP sensor or the ECU's internal baro pressure sensor being disabled or missing???

My obd1 ecu does not have the internal pressure sensor so do I turn off/un check the "use Atmospheric pressure compensation" option?

Is : "Barometric pressure sensor" and "Atmospheric pressure sensor" the same and one thing?

thanks and keep up the good work!

BTW, I do have the MAP sensor connected to a vacuum box with vac lines going to each intake runner..

If the ECU does not have the baro sensor inside then you cannot use that option.
