Setting 3-step when datalogging isn't enabled?

Post by seen4ever »

One car i tuned recently had the 3-step option on his s200. on my car, i set the 3-step via hondalogger. Oh his blue box, since datalogging wasn't enabled we couldn't set the 3-step with hondalogger. So we did the button trick, one push then rev to launch rpm, etc etc.

well I find this method to be mildly inaccurate with holding a steady rpm & such. Likewise, our initial guess of launch rpm was too low. now when we try to adjust the launch rpm higher, by pushing the button once, reving to new launch rpm, hitting the break, restarting. The previous launch still stays there.

any help is welcomed.

try the static method. the one wherein u dont have to start the car. its very accurate and easy :D
you wont learn until you actually do it.
