Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
Hi, I've read that when tuning itb's using Alpha N mode, its better to use the 4BAR table rather then the 3 bar table to get better table load resolution, does this mean that the 5 bar table would be even better? or is it overkill and 4 bar table it enough?

Also, if I set it to "Show 4 bar tables", does that mean I have to use a 4 bar map sensor?
I'm using a stock b18c map sensor at the moment

OR
do you recommend I stick with and use the 3bar table for alpha n mode?

Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
4 and 5 bar maps have the same number of columns. You do not need to use the 4 bar map sensor.
Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
mine shows up with 20 col for 4bar table and 24 col for 5bar, my hondata is s300 v3.
Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
show 3 bar table and boost tables have 16 columns, NA table shows 10.
Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
Sorry I'm mistaken, I remember they used to be the same.
Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
so is this a case where more is better?
should I use the 4bar table with 20 columns or use the 5 bar table which has 24?

Re: Alpha N ITB & TPS 3/4/5 bar maps
I heard the more columns we use the harder it is to tune, is this even true?
