Won't rev past 4k kswap

Just started using my kswapped em2 and it wont rev over 4000rpm. oil level is spot on as is the pressure. the only error code I have is daughter board communication error. any ideas or will this error code be my problem?

You probably have low voltage when cranking which is causing the error and revlimit. You need to correct the low voltage issue.

yes thats the error code. low voltage when cranking. I have one of the oddsey batterys and its relocated to the boot. Will try another good battery and see how I get on.

This morning on my way to work there was not engine light and the car would rev up then coming home it wouldn't.

I've noticed that when I start the car and the engine light is on if I then turn the car off and start it again the engine light isn't on and Vtec will work, anyone else had this before?

Have you corrected the low battery voltage at startup?
