Does K-Pro log any stats internally

Post by fishtail »

Without using an external PC and the datalogger kit, does the K-Pro store any internal stats? Specifically I would like to know whether the maximum revs (for the last x mins, or since the last start-up) are stored on-board on the chip? I know that many standard BMW/Porche/etc ECUs store this info, so I guess that Honda ECUs may be the same. If the info is stored, could a standard Honda shop scanner be used to read it?

No, there is no on-board stroage of data. You have to use a laptop to datalog.

As I understand it, the standard Honda ECU is kept (in modified form) and the K-Pro board is added. I thought that the original Honda has limited logging in the case of an over-rev (which is what I'm trying to check for), such as max revs reached, and when. Do you know whether this is the case, and whether the k-pro mods affect/remove this feature. If it makes any difference the kit is fitted to a JDM K20A.
