Hey guys, I'm following the hondata plx installation instructions and found no wire at d10 ELD to cut on my 92 integra. Anyone with a 92-93 DA that noticed this? I added a wire to the ecu harness in d10.
The next thing is that i figured I would check the gauge before I ran the wire behind my dash. I grounded it to the thermostat housing and power from the ACC slot in the fuse box. The gauge got no power. So I switched the power for my oil pressure gauge and the plx gauge and my oil pressure gauge turned on. This might be a retarded question does d14 and d10 wires need to be plugged into the module box as well for the gauge to get power?
92 integra no ELD in d10 and plx sm-afr power issues.
Re: 92 integra no ELD in d10 and plx sm-afr power issues.
The inputs have nothing to do with the device getting power. You should use a multimeter to check continuity and to make sure the locations you have are good power and ground locations.
Re: 92 integra no ELD in d10 and plx sm-afr power issues.
Power location is fine. And I used the same ground spot on the thermostat housing but I'll check the ground when I get home. Can I use the car battery to test it? Or would that do damage?

You can use the battery, but you should use a fuse in line.

I got it. The audio looking cable was not plugged in -_- thats why it was not turning on. Thanks for your help.
