Any tips or time savers for my knowledge putting swap in 5/4/05. also not getting a straight answer, from any pros and friends in my area. Is a PR4 ecu OBD1 or OBD0. i know its alot to ask, but please help my first time, omly good news so far taking out old motor was easy. THANX
pr4 can be either. look at the plug: all one color=obdI, 1 black and one green/semi-clear=obd0. '92 should be obdI... exact pc board as a '92 EX but with the vtec elements missing.
cable trans into an obdII chassis is problematic: adapter mount for the trans is needed and the front trans mount must be deleted. cable to hydraulic conversion is needed (we quit producing our Wilwood-based kit several years ago). also, the driver's side trans output seal must be changed if you are using the '94-up center axle. i highly recommend you consider finding a '94-up b-series trans... you'll be better off in the long run.
good luck though.
