Post by 99turbogsr »

do you suppose have to use the hondata cable switch for the launch control, right? you can't use the facotry one do you??

and how do you set the rev limit? I tried the way that video show me.. but it didn't work for me, why?

Please read page 14 of the s200 istallation manual. This can be found in the downloads section of the website. You cannot use the stock switch.

no, romeditor doesn't provide mph as a parameter for ftl. i believe Hondalogger lets you set the rpm though.

as for using a mph-based launch control:
i haven't tried it yet, but i am fairly certain you can use the n2o low-side output for launch control. you would feed the purge sol signal into the coil side of a relay. feed ignition 12V into the other side of the the relay's coil. the com side of the relay goes to ground and the nc side goes into the clutch switch wire (using a continuity tester you will find that one of the two wires is a full-time gnd... feed the n2o op into the OTHER wire). configure the n20 output to activate at 6mph with the purge sol as op.
**** with min engine speed, load, and throttle at a minimum value
**** and with max engine speed and load at a maximum value.

launch is now controlled by mph, but fts is still controlled by the clutch.
don't think of them as n2o outputs! they are generic programmable outputs with a million possible uses.

disclaimer: think this out as i take no responsibility for its correctness. place the rest of the legal yada, yada, yade HERE :)
