boost leak... please help!!!

Post by rev hard guys »

i really think that i'm close to be ready for dyno tuning!!! here is my set up: civic si, stock k20a3 with hondata heatshield gasket,k-pro, rev hard turbo kit, manuel boost controler set to 9.5 psi on the gauge inside the car, walbro intank fuel pump(255 lph), stock fuel rail, 550 cc rc injectors, fuel return line, fpr set at 55 pounds of pressure in rail under boost, act extreme organic clutch... thats it i think!!! MY PROBLEM...when i go full throtle the boost never hold 9.5 psi it always drop to 7-7.5 around and continue to drop slowly to 5.5 psi exept on the last gears(5) it hold corectly 9.5 psi and drop to around 8.5 at 6500 rpm.
can somebody can please tell my why it hold the boost ok on the last gear and not on the 1-2-3 and 4 gear??? i check all the piping connection and everything is ok. so now i realy need to fix that before the final tuning so please help!!! thank you in advance

there should be another adjustment knob on your boost controller
mess with that it should help
cause you problem is you getting up to 9.5 then the b/c stays open too long causing you to go back to your spring setting on your wast gate you want it to cloce again but faster to keep the boost level
