Need some input, not sure I got it right ...
I have been doing some dataloging during my daily commuting since about 1 week ago. I started out with the base calibration from kpro k20a2-rsx-310cc-itrcams-jrhdr-cai.kal.
After sorted out the knocking issue by retarding ignition timing, I started to adjust the AFR through the dataloging. I started off by editing the individual fuel table seperately, 1 whole row at a time using the lowest suggested value from the lambda overlay in the row. My AFR started out very rich. After doing it for several time, I started to only edit individual cell by the lambda overlay value, based on the cam position of the cell.
I did not clear the lambda value before every new datalog begins. However I usually update the kal twice a day, so most of the datalog is with a new kal. The car is running with close loop disabled most of the time.
I notice that I have been constantly adjusting the fuel table with significant value. And my low end at light throttle becomes unstable and the car jerk easily when driving slowly at light throttle on 3rd gear at 1.5k ~ 2.5k rpm.
With my latest kal, I can feel a significant dip at around 4k rpm from half to full throttle.
Attached is my kal and kdl. Any suggestion and input are highly appreciated.

Re: AFR tuning
Under Parameters>Compensation do you have values assigned for all temps? The reason why you have to constatnly keep changing values could be because you dont have compensation values.hnx676 wrote:Need some input, not sure I got it right ...

The fuel tables don't look normal. There are some fairly big dips and in many places a lot of fuel has been removed. It might pay to check the lambda with another wideband lambda meter as you should not have to pull out this much fuel.
There is not enough ignition advance for this area in the 30, 40 & 50 degree tables. With my latest kal, I can feel a significant dip at around 4k rpm from half to full throttle.
Increase the fuel in the first two or three columns for this rev range.I notice that I have been constantly adjusting the fuel table with significant value. What is the proper sequence of tuning ? Should I do the ignition first then the fuel ?
After I realise I am not going anywhere with my old way of AF tuning, I decided to copy the fuel maps from the k20a2-rsx-310cc-itrcams-jrhdr-cai.kal but retaining my ignition maps. Now I perform several rounds of full throttle 3k - 8.5k datalog and use graph- set new start/set new end to remove the rest of the dataloging which is not full throttle. Then I use edit all table, select entire row one at a time and edit the value based on lambda overlay suggested. Now I more or less got the right AFR for the full throttle. Please see the attached kal and kdl and your comment is highly appreciated.
Need some advice on how I can properly street tunethe part trottle... I thin k the other area still run pretty rich...

I have no access to dyno and wideband lambda meter... But the new kal has resolved the dip problem (my vtec window is 5k - 6k rpm now) Do you think if I keep the stock itr header and cat, I may still able to get good performance with vtec window set at 4k - 6k rpm ? Do I still need to advance ignition in the area mentioned ?There is not enough ignition advance for this area in the 30, 40 & 50 degree tables.
Now I also adjust the fuel temp compensation based on the IAT in datalog and this seems to be doing fine for the full throttle.I notice that I have been constantly adjusting the fuel table with significant value. And my low end at light throttle becomes unstable and the car jerk easily when driving slowly at light throttle on 3rd gear at 1.5k ~ 2.5k rpm.
