Closed Loop Under High Load (WOT)

Post by CGF20BOOSTED »

I could not find any topics on this subject. I noticed in the advanced closed loop help (s300), it states that closed loop can be achieved under high load (WOT). I have a F20b under 14psi, water meth and using flex fuel feature as well. I live in Texas, and this time of year, the weather alters from hot to cold. One day its in the 80s and the next its in the 40s or colder. My map is tuned for the summer. While I use E85, when it gets cold, my tune leans out a bit on open loop. So I thought this feature would be excellent for my type of set up. So I wanted to hear experiences, successes, failures, and any info on this subject. Or, if there already is a thread about this topic. I enabled the "wot closed loop" feature and it seems to be working well. Short term fuel trims are changing under high load per data log and my plx graph. Here is a brief screen shot...

Better to use a CAN-based Wideband interface for WOT Closed Loop for a faster response.
