S300 problems

Post by ffichman »

S/N 20725
Software 2.3.3.0
Civic VTI B16
P28
My changes:

MSD 6AL
MSD BLASTER II HVC Coil
MSD IGNITION SC COIL DRIVER
ACCEL 300+ Thundersport

My car does not read any sensor. Sometimes the sensors appear on the screen of Hondata and then disappear. The car does not exceed 4000rpm spin.

Now we can see the module information only once.
The sensor values are all wrong.
The light turns red Hondata constant.

Post pictures of the soldering on the bottom of the ECU, make sure they are high quality and in focus.

This s300 has not been installed correctly. You will need to talk to whoever installed this to see if they can do it properly. Unfortunately there really isn't' much else I can offer.

Reinstalling the Hondata was done properly and the problems remain. What do I do?

The next step would be to swap the s300 into a known good ECU.

The photos show that incorrect pins have been used on the ECU and the s300 connectors have been cut away for soldering - how was it reinstalled? To be blunt it looks damaged beyond repair already.
