CEL does not come off, car does not start

Post by sunelekvc »

Help!!!

CEL does not come off upon ignition and car does not start when attempt is made. When it does start, CEL does not come on upon Ignition.
On the s300 card, at times, D1 gives a red ledwhen the CEL is on and sometimes it gives a green. D4 has green led each time Ign is turned on.
I bought a new ecu that is hondata s300 ready and transferred the card and I still get the same problem. If i use a stock ECU, CEL operates as normal. I tried loading different calibrations and this did not resolve the issue. It used to work perfectly before....Please help.

1998 Honda Civic Type R with b16a 1st Gen Motor.
Car wiring is OBDIIa, using a jumper harness to hondata OBDI ECU
Car is basically stock at the moment.
Serial# S300-12,03
Hondata, Inc s300 r8.
sManager 2.3.3.0

Go to the online menu and choose the erase ECU option, let that finish as it may take several minutes. When it finishes, close the program and reopen it, then go to the new calibration menu and choose a new calibration from the list and upload it to the ECU. See if this resolves the issue you are having.
