When i first hooked up my S300 to my ITR with the ignition on, I got the normal CEL lights on dash and the error code in Smanager (Code 13), went to disable it, pressed the upload button in SManager, but the code was still there. I had to turn the car off and put the ignition back on for the code to go away.
Went to start the car up and got another code for the fuel injector error, disabled it, uploaded it but it still appeared on dash and in Smanager, had to turn car off and on to properly clear the code.
Is that normal? I thought with real time updating, as soon as i pressed the upload button the CELs should have disappeared ? Will this same thing happen at the time of tuning, any changed my tuner makes he will need to switch car on and off again ?
Using version 2.3.3
Real time updating is ON
Edit; Took car for drive, changed VTEC point in smanager as a test, uploaded and this change was successful and implemented without having to turn car off and on. So why did the car have to be turned off for the CEL codes to go away. Do the CEL's stay in memory or something?
Is my S300 real-time updating?
Re: Is my S300 real-time updating?
If you have errors you need to go to the online menu and click on clear DTCs or you can click the red exclamation point.
