s300 help

Ok i had this working the other day, i un installed the program while i was clearing out allot from my laptop. Now i cannot connect the s300 to my pc. I am using windows 7.

Things i tried

-Cheking in device manager
-Update drivers / wont work error code comes up
-Tried older version of smanager
-I can hear the usb connect to computer
-Stays in offline mode
-Green light is on

Any help or suggestions ? should i update my windows ?...

try a different USB port and install usb drivers

i tried both of that and it still does not connect

The battery on the laptop died after i uploaded to s300 and had the car running.

I found these while while i was following the information from this site.

I will be removing all faded sections and trying again. Hopefully this works and others can try it out i will report later.





i ended up getting the driver installed and was able to datalog. Thanks much for the reply and help.

Try a friend's laptop and see if that works. If it does then there is a problem with your operating system. Perhaps you accidentally deleted some windows files.
