S300 v1 #0898 solid D1 light

Post by 7rrivera7 »

Customer brought in his ECU with an S300 v1 board installed for repair. Says the car has a solid cel and runs poorly. Tested the S300 in my own personal ECU which has a V1 board isntalled and working fine but with his board, D1 stays lit solid. Attempts to erase the ECU fails and I cannot upload a calibration. Please tell me if I have any options to assist this customer. Thank you.

PS, I checked the S300 information and aside from the red X and 0mb of memory, the serial number says 817 but the actual V1 says 0898. Don't know if it's relevant or not but I thought I'd add this information. Pic attached.

It's an R7 board. I'm not sure if they were copied so I couldn't use your counterfeit fotos to validate. Thanks for your help!

Since this is 8 years old and out of warranty it would be $350 to replace it with a V2 s300.
