dyno issues
Re: dyno issues
Is the engine harness OEM, or has it been tucked?
Re: dyno issues
It's not "tucked" but there is nothing factory on it besides the distributor, ecu, iat and ect plugs...
Re: dyno issues
Are you running an alternator?
Re: dyno issues
no alternator... i am having my injectors cleaned and flowed right now to make sure there isnt anything funny happening there. I was thinking about it and I remembered the problem getting worse and worse as the spark plugs got more and more pulls on them it seemed like it would pull through better on fresh plugs so I got to thinking maybe one or one set of injectors are somehow stuck open. an issue with the injectors would make sense too because the issue came out of nowhere when the car was running great. I will report back when I get the results from the flow bench.
Re: dyno issues
Also try changing out the spark plugs for new ones.
Re: dyno issues
The injectors ended up being perfectly fine so I'm back on the hunt... have tryed multiple sets of plugs any other ideas?
Re: dyno issues
What engine is this?
Re: dyno issues
It's a 2 Liter b18.... I tested my injectors through the harness and they come out to 4.8ohms I'm starting to think I burnt a driver, I'm running 2 id2000s in each cylinder.
Re: dyno issues
Are you running a resistor box with these injectors?
Re: dyno issues
No I have considered this, though they are high Impedence when they are wired parallel like I have them together they drop to 4.5ohms
