problems starting kmanager

hi, i just received my ecu today with kpro installed. i have tried using the disc that came in the box with the ecu and have also downloaded the software from the hondata website. after i "finish" the installation and try to launch the kmanager program i get an error message that says "error 0" "could not start the application". i get this every time and i've tried 2 laptops.

i'm saving the program under C:/program files/kmanager during installation.

kinda need some help, please?

Your antivirus software is deleting the application. Uninstall your antivirus software then reinstall the Hondata software and it should work. Microsoft Security Essentials works much better than other antivirus software does.

Dude you're a genius! LOL that worked. It runs now. 1 more question though. If I enable the immobilizer from kmanager will that make my green key light go out? It's just flashing at me right now.

Yes, the green light will flash unless the immobilizer is enabled.
