How to use low/High boost control

Post by olivenoire »

Hello,
My car is actually totally tune
(K20a2, forged, turbo kkk, full 3")

Boost by gear is tune too, very cool function to be able to lowered the boost presure for exampel in 1st and second gear
Now I want to go to the next level

I can see in my kamanger 2 option boost (low) and boost (high)
it seems I'm able to command the switch beetween the 2 mode but do not understand how to do that

When I see :
* E16 Power steering pressure (gnd = off) : what does this means? - low boost when steering is in use and high boost when not in use?
* E29 Service connector : can I use this in the ecu to make a switch. if yes, how?
* E22 . same question??? On or off if I brake?
* B22 : same is vtec is engaged or not?

Any advice helpfull
TY for your understanding

I thin my thread is not very explicit. Sorry about that. not my mother tongue

In fact what I want to know is if it is possible to manually switch a input in the ecu, for example the e29 to switch from low to high boost?

I need to check if e29 is used or not, can be cutted and short circuit to manually switch it?

Help is welcome

Edit : Just want to say -> this does not help

I've found a topic
http://www.hondata.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=22859

When I read
"You must disconnect the harness from the ecu. You will need to run separate wires from the ecu to your own switch for High/low boost. The brake switch input has nothing to do with the brake lights."

Do I'm understand right :
You cut the cable from E22.
You put on it your own cable with a switch and put 12V on it to switch to high boost?

And if I use the E29, I need to switch to what? What means GND? Ground??

The wire can no longer be connected to whatever is originally went to. You must wire the switch be it a +12v input or a Ground to that wire and a source of either power or ground depending on the input.

Ok tank you for your reply
Now I think things are clearer
I will use a ground or 12v and a switch

The E29 seems to be a good input. I wonder if I will be able to use my Bluetooth dongle connected to the the bod port...

Hello here again

Normally I will this we put the switch to the low/high boost function

I want to use the e29 connector (gnd on)

And because I do not want to burn my ecu, I want to be totally sure this is correct???

Can you confirm??

Thank you in advance

No that is not correct.

Your switch should be as in the diagram for nitrous controls:

Hi TY for your reply.
Sorry to insist :( But I'm not sure to understand! And unfortunately nobody near me is able to explain to me what to do : Do i need a relay??!

Or just thanks to the switch simply "send the mass" to the E29??

The relay is only for an output on a different pin. A switched input to the ECU does not need a relay.
