random rev limit, boost cut

Post by BadWay »

Car was tuned on the dyno. No issues while on the dyno. Take the car to the track and it rev limits at around 3800 randomly. Also at one point it was hitting boost cut under the programmed limit. Here is the datalogs and the map. Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out..

I'm looking at your stuff and I cant figure it out either. Will try to look some more. Make sure that nothing is loose in the ECU.

Try disabling on-board datalogging and see if that has any effect.

When it cuts the MAP is spiky - it may be briefly going past the boost cut faster than the datalogging rate.

Good to hear. Glad that u found the problem and shared. I tried that already on my car but I bought a cheap eBay distributor. Had to send it back now I'm waiting on a new OEM version.

are you sure it fixed it?

I had the same issue with 2.3.3

I then used 2.3.2 for file 1730r and the same issue.
