CR-V ECU into Element

Post by USAF EP3 »

Hello everyone, I just recently purchased a 2004 Element 4WD manual transmission.

The question I have is about the application for KPro on the CR-V ECU's. There seems to be some self-conflicting data on the hondata.com home page.

On the main KPro page it lists any 02-04 CR-V manual ECU with part numbers '37820-PPA-A0#' the '#' I'm assuming any digit from 0 to 9. But, on the KPro webpage for the Element it lists that if using the CR-V ECU only the part numbers 'PPA-A01 thru A05' can be used.

The answer is time sensitive due to the fact that a 2003 CR-V MT ECU is available on an auction website with part number PPA-A06 and would like to make sure that this ECU can accept KPro and work in my newly acquired Element.

Thank you for the help in advance!

The PPA-A06 and PPA-305 are the same as the PPA-A05. However, we don't support swaps into the CRV, only the element.

Thank you so much for the very quick reply, I was able to purchase the PPA-A06 ECU. I am a repeat customer as I have KPro installed in my 2005 Honda Civic Si.

I'm so glad that I can send this ECU out for you guys to install KPro in it. Now I can swap out the K24A4 for a much more stout K24A2 in the Element.

Here's to another smooth installation of KPro into my new Element! Cheers!
