Is there any way to initiate a datalog *on the FP* from FPM?
If you select Datalog from the FPM menu, or press F10, it starts datalogging on the PC, which is much slower, with less time resolution. I am looking for a function that is exactly equivalent to pressing the datalog button on the FP device.
The purpose of this is that I want to semi-permanently mount the FP in the vehicle inside the dash, with a USB passthrough port in the console to connect a laptop to when needed. All of the other necessary functions can be done from the PC, without access to the buttons.

No, this is not possible. The only way is to press the datalog button on the FlashPro itself.
