Post by LDForget »

im trying to get my dead times right and i think ive got another issue.

ID1000 injectors
hondata 4bar map
b18c turbo
s300

The engine runs lean, rich, lean, rich, lean, rich until it gets to 212 degree's, then it starts idling fine. datalog and config file attached.

Both datalog files are the same. Only the overheating datalog file was posted. But, you need to fix your fuel compensation table under water temp compensation. Set the numbers under 168 and 177 to "0". Then go back and fix the low speed fuel map because it's out of whack. The alternator voltage seems to be holding steady so getting your idle AFRs steady should be easy because the injector deadtime isn't going to be bouncing around.

still doing the alternating lean/rich. you can see the pulse width for the injectors going down to nothing.

Download the file I attached, load it, and do a datalog.

Thanks. ill give it a shot tomorrow. What did you change?

on this computer (not my logging laptop) i get the

"nan is not a floating type" error when trying to open smanager. ive tried searching but with no results. This computer used to be the one i logged with, so smanager used to work. any idea how to fix it?

::Edit::

well i was able to get smanager working again by deleting everything i had on my computer to do with it (in program files and in appdata) and reinstalling.

sorry for delay, swapped the drivetrain into a different car because i sold the other one. still doing the alternating lean/rich. even does it at speed sometimes. is it possible its just due to a shit base map?

I would highly recommend getting this tuned by a professional.

i went back to my tune, and got the AFR's all good and smooth. still goes lean/rich under very light throttle though.
